Biography

Joris Brantuas's (graduated from ESBAN: Ecole Superieure des Beau Arts in Nimes, France )   painting is free abstraction, a continuation and logical response to support / surface movements and free figuration, although he draws his painting rather from Cy Twombly, Julian Schnabel, Hans Hartung, Olivier Debré, the Paris school - more generally, the Japanese movement Gutay or even Robert Malaval.
